Sr. Business Intelligence Lead

Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead for a potential opportunity supporting our government customer with improving data management, supporting enterprise data analytics, and to achieve greater operational efficiency supporting their mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The business intelligence lead will provide expert team leadership and guidance.
• Be responsible for leading the overall assessment of analyses and products to inform leadership.
• Provide recommendations, designs, and dashboard products that can be used to create, modify, and implement business intelligence products for multiple audiences of management.

The business intelligence provides support to meet the goals and objectives to improve utilization of Business Intelligence strategies and tools to help the government analyze vast quantities of data to uncover new knowledge, support product ownership of analytical tools, support data literacy training and engagement initiatives, analytical training initiatives (i.e. Analyst University), support data visualization requests, and enhance and maintain Agency standard reporting datasets (i.e. E22, PASEXEC, IMAPS, NPD, Metrics Mart, etc.) from the business‐side (Non‐OIT) functions.

Support functions include:

• Support Data literacy and training operations
• Dashboards for leadership
• Data sets and data visualization
• Ad hoc reports and use of supported suite of analytics tools, such as: OBIEE, SAS, Databricks, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, with languages such as SQL, R, SAS, Python, JAVA, etc.
• Assist in the development of strategies to meet Agency’s objectives to reduce manual and redundant entry, aggregation, and reporting of data.
• Support the Analyst University integrate disparate data.
• Support the operations and maintenance of the Agency’s historical statistical datasets and additional layers of aggregation with IMAPS related data needs.

Required Certification:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related subjects.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing analyses, dashboards, and business intelligence products.
• The business intelligence lead shall demonstrate knowledge of and proficiency in analysis Software published by SAS as well as visualization software published by Oracle and Tableau.
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN and Able to attain/maintain a Public Trust clearance.
