Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services, Inc (NIS) is in search of a Pricing Analyst ready to join our team in Fairfax, VA. The primary responsibility of this position will be to arrive at accurate pricing for all labor cost for the Proposals, Bids, Quotes and contracts in a timely manner according to established priorities. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with various team members in the company including Business Development, Operations and Finance to determine correct market pricing is factored in while developing proposals.

Responsibilities: 
·       Collaborate with Business Development executives and Account Management to strategize and develop pricing scenarios that balance the need for winning new business and/or renegotiating existing business with overall corporate profitability guidelines.
·       Evaluate, analyze, and recommend pricing strategy for all services provided by the company, ensuring that fees, proposed costs and direct/indirect are competitive and in support of the strategic and profit objectives of the organization.
·       Develop profitability analyses and post-mortems of new contracts and re-negotiations; communicate findings and make recommendations to the CEO/VP/ Corporate Controller   as well as all levels of Sales and Account Management.
·       Develop written materials and proposals that reflect the terms of each pricing situation, positioned in such a way as to represent the strategic marketing objectives of the Business Development and Account Management team.
·       Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining procedures and policies that are focused on pricing accuracy and profit maximization.
·       Provide ongoing support to Business Development and Account Management in reviewing and editing pricing proposals.
·       Prepare and participate in client profitability reviews with Account Management and identify and recommend effective ways to increase profitability while ensuring client retention.
·       Quantify the impact of changes in client policy and/or service delivery in terms of profitability and net fees.
·       Analyze and quantify the risk of government and private sector pricing scenarios.
·       Proactively work with Business Development, Account Management, and other NIS employees to provide them with a working knowledge of pricing in order to facilitate and support the pricing process.
·       Work with and understand the supporting groups within the business, to include Professional Services, Business Development, Labor Laws, Labor cost, Benefits Cost, Finance, and Account Sales Management.


Required:
·       Bachelor's Degree in math, accounting or related field.
·       3 years of relevant work experience.
·       Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
·       Strong quantitative analytical and problem solving skills with quality decision making ability.
·        Multi-tasking ability in pressure situations while meeting tight deadlines.
·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.
