Position Overview:
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the NIS Family. The Project Manager will manage Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Task Orders and be responsible for essential duties and engage with the customer on a reqular basis to maintain client satisfaction for quality service and deliverables

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Must have a complete understanding of the TO statement of work (SOW) and the work that the staff are completing; ensure that NIS is delivering to the SOW requirements.
  • Generate contract deliverables, including the project management plan, schedule, and other documentation.
  • Engage with the customer on a regular basis to assess customer satisfaction and the quality of services and deliverables.
  • Manage personnel including hiring, professional development, and training.
  • Manage and build customer relationships, tracking data and meeting emerging needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems and concerns, documenting root cause and fixes.
  • Ensure that TO personnel are compliant with all required security certifications.

Job Qualifications:
  • Candidates must possess a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project/Program Management certification
  • 5 years of relevant experience managing IT projects.
  • Must have demonstrated organizational skills while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
  • Must be computer literate, able to use MS Office.
  • Must be a self-starter and a team player.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
