Program Manager (PMP) Fairfax (Hybrid) SECRET Clearance
Position Overview: Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is searching for an experienced Program Manager to join the NIS family. The Program Manager will be responsible for overall contract operations on multiple Task Order (TO) contracts supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Responsible for business development and growth under the DLA JETS contract vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have a complete understanding of all TOs statement of work (SOW) and the work that the staff are completing; ensure that NIS is delivering to the SOW requirements.
Manage and interface with NIS Project Managers that are managing individual TOs.
Engage with the customer on a regular basis to assess customer satisfaction and the quality of services and deliverables.
Manage and build customer relationships, tracking data and meeting emerging needs.
Create, modify, update, and communicate budgets and strategic goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems and concerns, documenting root cause and fixes.
Manage business activities focusing on financial and strategic growth of organization.
Understand contract TO expiration dates and work with the customer to build follow-on TOs and/or NIS corporate to reassign personnel.
Identify opportunities within DLA that will support NIS growth.
Support proposal activities as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Secret clearance.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project/Program Management certification
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience in program management.
10 years leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields; have experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones.
Knowledge of DLA organization, policies, and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Government Contracting (GOVCON) arena.
Demonstrated knowledge of business development and proposal activities in Federal GOVCON.
Must understand different contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF).
Must have demonstrated organizational skills while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Must have effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management.
Must be computer literate, able to use MS Office.
Must be a self-starter and a team player.
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
