Secret Clearance

Nationwide IT Services is seeking multiple Help Desk Agents to support a Federal Client in New Orleans LA. This role would be supporting the Navy on a Help Desk contract that supports our Warfighters in critical support protecting our country. Must have DOD Secret Clearance to apply to support a Federal Client.

Overview:
  • Military experience is required - Retired Naval personnel are preferred
  • DoD Secret clearance or have had one within one year prior
  • Extensive experience in one of the following areas: Fleet Support Management, Training Expertise, H,M&E (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical), ILS (Integrated Logistics Support), CS (Combat Systems), C5I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Collaboration, and Intelligence), OPS (Operations), IT (Information Technology)
  • Provide critical support in protecting our country.

Qualifications
  • Operating knowledge of Navy acronyms, equipment, systems and operations
  • Must speak clear and fluent English with correct intonation
  • Ability to write clearly, using correct spelling and punctuation; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows required
  • Must be able actively listen and record data into the service request tracking system
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in working on a team, creative problem solving, and customer service skills
  • Requires a flexible schedule that accommodates temporary shift changes to cover absences and workload changes and is punctual with a record of few unplanned absences
  • Must pass a Customer Support Professional certification, and may be required to become Security + certified.
  • Be able to work on twice yearly rotating shifts and must be able to staff all shifts and be available to help cover absences and time off.
