Job Description
NIS is seeking and experienced Project/Program/Portfolio Manager with over twenty years of direct and indirect cyber security/project management/leadership experience and expertise in overseeing government acquisition, test and evaluation, staff management, and systems integration. Must have a proven record of managing program life cycle from system design through integration, test planning, and verification via requirements-based execution, quantitative risk management, and formal change management techniques. Shall possess exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams in order to identify program capabilities, assess resources, and collaborate with personnel ensuring exceptional customer service for customers and users with all projects delivered on time and within scope of budget. Will be responsible for the overall design, sustainment, quality assurance, quality control concepts and processes, and success of multiple Task Orders within DoD. Must have knowledge and understanding of guidelines and methodologies such as; FISCAM, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-53 (Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Orgs), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) Controls. DLA familiarity a plus.
 
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • BS - Management Information Systems with 6 to 8 years of experience in the field.  
  • CISSP
  • PMP or MPM
  • CEH
  • CNDA
  • Demonstrated ability to further analyze cost and schedule data by ad-hoc analysis
  • Ability to track action items, develop metrics, and develop/track risk mitigation plans
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment for the successful achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with ability to receive and provide information with clarity, courtesy and tact.
  • Technical experience and/or knowledge with software and/or systems development is a very nice to have component, though not required
  • Strong initiative, detail-orientation, and organizational skills, as well as demonstrate an aptitude for analytical thinking
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-oriented environment across several projects and teams
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a commitment to teamwork and an eye for detail.
